Most security companies are built for businesses. NeedHacker exists for the person on the other end of a 2am panic locked out of their email, watching someone else post from their Instagram, unsure who to even call.
Every platform has a recovery process. Almost none of them are built for someone in crisis mode, unsure which of their accounts are actually compromised, worried about what the attacker can still see. We handle the technical side verified recovery channels, session revocation, breach scoping so you're not doing it alone from a device you're not sure you can trust.
We started NeedHacker after watching friends and family go through exactly that: hours on hold, recovery forms that ask for information they no longer have access to, and no clear sense of whether the attacker was still in.
The first move in any active breach is cutting off the attacker's access revoking sessions, removing unknown devices before anything else. Every minute of delay is a minute they still have control.
We work through each platform's own verified account-recovery and identity-verification processes. We don't use exploits, social-engineering tricks, or anything that skirts a provider's actual security process that would just create a second vulnerability.
We check what else the attacker touched forwarding rules, linked apps, other accounts sharing the same login so you're not back for the same reason a week later.
You'll always know what we're doing and why, in terms that don't require a security background to follow.
The sooner we're in the loop, the less an attacker can do with the time they have left.
